Shearing Day Alpaca

March 22 was Shearing Day At Fairhope Alpaca Farm, and we were pleased to be asked
to help. We enjoyed it even if we were so tired we did not know our names. lol The we
is my husband Mac and myself.

Below are some pictures of the day. Mark and Chris were the shearers, one now lives
here in the US the other in New Zealand and comes over to shear each year. We had about 6 workers picking up fleece and I was writing down the weight of each alpaca
before shearing and after, up close and some times too close.
